Terms & Conditions

Terms

The term of this Agreement shall commence on the date Shipper tenders to Courier a shipment to be transported by Courier and shall remain in force and in effect until Courier has made delivery in accordance with the instructions from the Shipper. Availability is not confirmed until booked. When booking, dates must be flexible; 3-days pre and 3-days post of pick-up/drop-off dates, in the event of sudden schedule changes.

Pick-up and Drop-Off Times must be flexible, and can be at any time or additional costs can/will apply including, but not limited to, holding/waiting/boarding fees. These fees can vary and current costs will be provided at the time needed/requested.

Courier Representations

Courier represents and warrants that it is duly and legally qualified to provide all interstate and intrastate transportation services contemplated herein.  The TRANSPORTER network includes a list of experienced drivers that can be both employed and/or contracted to provide nationwide pet relocation services.

Courier Operations

Unless otherwise stated in this Agreement, Courier shall furnish all expenses required for the operation and maintenance of the motor vehicle furnished by Courier for the performance of its obligations hereunder (collectively, the “Motor Vehicle”). Courier shall have full control of the personnel used in the operation of the Motor Vehicle and shall perform the services hereunder as an independent contractor.

Invoices

The Business will invoice the Client to confirm the booking. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in suspension or termination of the service request.

Payment Terms

Option 1 :  Full Payment is required to confirm dates and availability at the time of booking.

Option 2 : A 50% Deposit is required to confirm dates and availability at the time of booking. Remaining 50% is due 24-hrs prior to Pick-Up.

Payment methods

Payment will be made to the Business via Zelle, CashApp, an approved payment card, or by any other payment method determined by the Business.

CC payments will incur a 5% CC Conv Fee included in the overall total balance due

Cancellation and Refunds

  • 14 days or more:   Fully Refundable

  • 10 – 13 days:  Fully Refundable (Less $200 CXL Fee)

  • 4 – 9 days:  50% Deposit Refundable

  • 0 – 3 days:  Non-Refundable or Failure to provide required records

‘Cancellation at Any Time’ is available at an additional charge of $99.0

All refunds require 3-5 business days for processing and will be refunded to the same account and/or method of payment used.

Licensing

The Business and/or its independent contractors promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

Expenses

Client will reimburse the Business for reasonable expenses incurred by the Business in the provision of services under this Contract if not included in “SERVICES PROVIDED: OUR PRICE INCLUDES” Section of this contract

Authority to sign

Each party has the authority to enter into this Contract and to perform all of its obligations under this Contract.

Services Provided

We offer PRIVATE or SHARED/DIRECT ground transportation with door-2-door pick up and drop off. This means LESS TRAVEL TIME FOR YOUR PET/S and LIMITED TRAVEL WITH MULTIPLE PETS.

Most trips are same day delivery. Otherwise, drop off is next day/within 48-56hrs (up to 4 days for Coast to Coast travel). Routes and travel time may or may not include exchanges, weather, traffic, construction, highway delays etc. can alter pick up and drop off times and are beyond our control.

OUR PRICE INCLUDES: Tolls, Live GPS Tracking (or interval location request options), pick-up/drop-off delivery receipt, overnight accommodations if needed, PETCARE (to include walks/potty breaks/feeding every 4 to 5hrs or as needed), food/water and a travel crate (for pets up to 70lbs). Pricing also takes into consideration the breed, weight, temperament, physical restrictions etc. of your pet/s, so that we ensure that we are able to provide the proper pet care during the trip.

Cagefree or group travel requires PRIVATE TRANSPORT.  Private transport include up to two drivers, private vehicle, personal item carry-ons (limited to the driver/s discretion) and cagefree options.

Cagefree is only provided based on the temperament of the pet/s in transit and will still be under the discretion of the driver/s on the trip.

Our process

We begin by obtaining a completed Trip Form with preferred dates/times for travel, full Address/Contact Details and Pet info for the trip inclusive of medical record copies (required) and current pet photos (if available)

Contracts will be created and sent out for acknowledgement, reveiw and signature.

An Invoice/Request for payment is also sent. Once all information is received (Trip form, medical records, signed contracts) along with payment the booking is officially confirmed.  THE FULL PROCESS WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED TO ENSURE YOUR DATES/TIMES ARE LOCKED IN, OFFICIALLY BOOKED AND CONFIRMED.

One (1) day prior, we will reach out to you as a courtesy. Four (4) hours up to One (1) hour prior to Pick-up, we will send a courtesy text so that you anticipate our arrival.

Once picked up, a picture of your pet and pet item/s will be sent via the means agreed/discussed with your courier.  There are black out times for correspondence and picture/updates will only be sent during our scheduled times and can be sent up to 2x daily.

We will send periodic updates as well as you will have a 24-hr contact number. PETCARE is conducted every 4 – 5 hours or as needed. PETCARE include walks/potty breaks/feeding. These are scheduled and are not able to be sent at random to ensure the route meets its delivery deadlines.

Nearing delivery, 4-hrs up to 1-hr prior to Drop-off, we will send a courtesy text so that you anticipate our arrival. Once dropped off, a Proof of Delivery with a pet photo will be sent via the means agreed/discussed with your courier.

Transport Conditions

Departure and arrival times can change due to weather, accidents, traffic and other circumstances beyond our control. You will be notified immediately if any of these situations occur.

Scheduled times can change due to snow, ice, and other hazardous road conditions. Some of these things can be prepared for, as best possible. However, things like traffic accidents and mechanical failures can come into play. Under any of these conditions we will do our best to be as close to scheduled times as possible without putting driver and/or pet/s into harm’s way.

Medical Records

Medical documents for all pets are required for transport and will be provided via email and at the time of pick up.  Transport can be denied if documents are not provided.

Modifications

The Client and the Business must agree to any changes to this contract in writing.

The Business will give up to 24hrs notice of any scheduling changes.

Termination of contract

The Contract ends on upon delivery unless one of the parties ends the contract before that time. If one of the parties chooses to end the Contract prior to Project completion, the Client is responsible for paying for all work and costs incurred up until that date.

Warranty

No refunds will be provided for the work completed or services performed under this contract. Services or work completed are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship at the time of delivery.

Transport Picture Authorization

Pictures of your pet/s are taken during travel and can be used for business promotions.

NCNDA – Parties

This Non-Compete Agreement “hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement” is entered into on the date of signing this agreement.

Parties can and will refer to, but not limited to, employees, independent contractors, businesses and/or any other entity engaged in business with PetShip48 and/or any businesses owned/partnered or affiliated with the aforementioned.

Non Competition – TERM

This agreement shall be effective on the date of signing this agreement through the period of contractual employment and/or services rendered and will remain in effect for a period of 3yrs after the conclusion of the employment and/or services contract.

Non Compete

I hereby agree that during the terms of this agreement I will refrain from engaging in any business or company solicitation with client/driver/admin or any other other entity that is competitive with our business activity and scope of work.  As a result, no party (employee, independent contractor, client or any other entity) will engage in any business or work that competes with the company’s business activity.

The party agrees not to manage, operate, advise, own, control, consult with or permit his/her name to be used by any business or for any business that competes with our company.

Failure to do so will result in immediate termination of services and legal action for damages can/may be pursued.

NCNDA – BOOKINGS

All future bookings must be made through the company and should not be directly requested from company employees, drivers, independent contractors and/or any other business and/or entity engaged in business with PetShip48 and/or any businesses owned/partnered or affiliated with the aforementioned.

Card on file

I authorize this business to keep my credit card on file for any future transactions until I request a cancellation if this option is selected.

I understand that the terms of this authorization will remain in effect until I request that they be terminated. I acknowledge that I am responsible for making this request in writing.

5% CC Convenience Fee

5% CC Conv Fee is charged on all cc payments and will be included in the overall invoice total

GENERAL TRANSPORT – TOW – STORAGE – OTHER SERVICES

Terms

When booking, dates must be flexible; 3-days pre and 3-days post of pick-up/drop-off dates, in the event of sudden schedule changes for transport outside of the state of AL.

Pick-up and Drop-Off Times must be flexible, and can be at any time or additional costs can/will apply including, but not limited to, holding/waiting/other fees. These fees can vary and current costs will be provided at the time needed/requested.

Services not performed are refundable less a GOA fee if services were attempted.  The GOA fee will be determined by the business.

All refunds require 3-5 business days for processing and will be refunded to the same account and/or method of payment used.

Licensing

The Business and/or its independent contractors promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

Services Provided

We offer ground transportation with door-2-door pick up and drop off, tow, roadside assistance, storage and other related services.

OUR PRICE INCLUDES: Pricing for general transport includes tolls, Live GPS Tracking (or interval location request options), pick-up/drop-off delivery receipt and overnight accommodations if needed.

Pricing for tow and roadside includes the cost for the service only.  Out of area mileage, additional equipment, additional labor, expedited etas etc will be at an additional charge.

Pricing for storage includes accommodation for one item/vehicle for one day uncovered.  Indoor storage, other storage related requests, taxes and other fees will be at an additional charge.

Our process
